WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, WHAT DO YOU DO?
You've heard the saying that, tough times don't last but tough people do, so I ask, what is it taht makes tough people last?
One thing is sure, that is
Assurance, the assurance that this will also pass away, that it is a path, a phase of life, just as bishop David Oyedepo puts it; life is in phases, men are in sizes. let that assurance be in you that this is a phase, it will surely pass no matter how long it takes.
Psa 30:5
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
One other thing that should keep you going is hope, and this talks about what you can see in your tomorrow, can you see that situation changing for the better? what you see is what you seize
Gen 13:14-15
And the Lord
said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now
thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and
southward, and eastward, and westward:
15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
Jer 1:11
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
When all these is said and done, your faith comes to play, you must believe that you can make it, faith is what make the impossible happen for you, you will need it. but please beware of believing that what will be will be que sera sera, if you are not careful, what will happen is what you don't like.
One important, aspect of faith is that, you can make it happen as long as you believe it.
Faith works faster, when your confidence is in place, it is written
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
Faith is boosted by confidence.
All these virtues work together to make you go through tough times without much ado, it makes you ride on the storm on eagle's wings.
However, there are tools that makes tough times pass away in a moment.

God's word
Every thing on this earth, answer to the authority of God's word, because in the first place they were created by that same word. so all you need to do, is locate the word of God that pertains to your situation;
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

and the next thing you do is to boldly declare it, you need to know that whatever your mouth cannot say, your handle can't take,

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
I need to tell you this truth, don't keep quiet, in the midst of trials, because a closed mouth is a closed destiny. you need to speak out, do you know that, had it being that David had kept quiet while Goliath was ranting he would have being dead. so, declare that thou mayest be justified.
Thanksgiving
Many are yet to discover the power of thanksgiving, for those in America, I appreciate the fact that you guys separate a time of the r=year for thanksgiving, I believe that is one of the reason that nation keeps moving forward in the midst of strong opposition and as continued to possess the gates of their enemies, but thanksgiving is a mystery that brings people out of all manner of situations;
Jehoshaphat and the Host of Judah
Abraham showed us the power of thanksgiving,
Rom 4:20
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
I tell you the truth, whatever the Lord must have told you, Now is the time to thank Him for the fulfilment because he never breaks his promises.
When you thank him for what he has done, he will yet do more for you. So thank him.
